A diagnostic assessment for ADHD involves three main parts: gathering a clinical history through an interview with your provider, an objective measurement of symptoms remotely, and the completion of one or more rating scales.

At Personal Practitioners, we offer ADHD testing with QBTest Telehealth, an FDA-cleared objective assessment for diagnosis and treatment evaluation.
Patients can take this 20 minute test from anywhere with computer access. During a follow-up appointment, one of our experienced psychiatric practitioners will review the results with you and, if appropriate, work with you to determine a holistic and comprehensive treatment plan.
Initially developed in 2002, QBTech developed the first FDA-cleared objective tests for ADHD evaluation and treatment monitoring. These objective tests streamline the ADHD assessment process and help clinicians, patients and their families to gain a better understanding of core ADHD symptoms.
Research in the International
Journal of Methods in Psychiatric Research found that performing QBTest remotely has high convergent validity with it being carried out in a clinical setting.
QBtest results are delivered in a visual report, comparing your results to others in your age range and gender without ADHD.
These results measure core ADHD symptoms as they apply to activity, attention, and impulsivity.
Depending on your insurance provider, we may be able to submit a pre-authorization or reimbursement for the QbTest as a neuropsychological assessment. We will work with you to manage pricing expectations prior to the start of your initial appointment.
Unfortunately at this time, our practice is not currently in-network with Medicare or Medicaid, even if they are contracted with a private insurance company. We hope to expand our accessibility to more patients in the future.
QbTest is one of the widest FDA-cleared objective tests for both the diagnosis and treatment management of ADHD. FDA clearance is important in assuring referring physicians that QbTest can discern ADHD patients from non-ADHD patients to a level deemed appropriate by the FDA.
ADHD testing with QbTest can only be administered under the supervision of a qualified practitioner who is authorized by QbTest telehealth to conduct testing.
The first step is to book an initial appointment with one of our practitioners to schedule a pre-assessment review. Our office and your personal practitioner will guide you along every step of the way!
