Meet Jonathan

Jonathan Nguyen

In today's ever-changing world, technology and its digital evolutions have touched and transformed every aspect of our daily lives. From finance to education, to manufacturing and media; healthcare is no exception. Advancements in medical technology and information systems are reshaping how care is delivered and managed, bringing telehealth into the national spotlight as the next-generation driver of patient-centered care. At the forefront of this transformation is health informatics, bridging the gap between clinical practice and information technology.

My journey to health informatics is deeply personal, rooted in my own past struggles with healthcare accessibility and my strong belief in leveraging the power of technology towards helping to transform patient outcomes. I spent my teenage and early adult years working in restaurants, having dropped out of college twice and becoming increasingly desperate as I struggled to find my true belonging. It was the expansion of telehealth and its increasingly present awareness campaigns that had allowed me to, after all of those years, connect with and afford care for previously undiagnosed Asperger's and ADHD.

Fast forward a few years later, with continued treatment, I've earned a bachelor's in network engineering and five IT certifications, including the CompTIA Security+ and Cloud Security Professional certifications. I've had the opportunity to work in roles as a network engineer, security analyst, and IT administrator across various sectors, including IT service providers, financial tech startups, and consulting firms. Throughout these experiences, the commonality I've found in the most successful ventures is the passion and purpose that drives an organization's work. With the success I've achieved today having been made possible with telehealth, what drives my work for our practice today goes beyond financial or corporate interest; it is a genuine passion and desire to pay it forward.
